Photography from a moving car

Even though there are a lot of rest stops and places to turn off for scenic overlooks, there was so much to see in between those stops that Joshua felt the need to try and capture some of it while moving.  Also, on some of the switchback roads it was difficult to pull off and on in a safe fashion, so the shotgun seat photographer was snapping away while the driver was clinging to the wheel and down shifting.

 That's the road we're taking down, and eventually back up.

Then coming back out of Geiranger, passenger side is on the opposite viewpoint now

 Not much sun these two days but the clouds and the mountains were having fun

 Trying to catch the blue of the mountain water

 The only way to get any fame in landscape photography

New day, and sun, as we made our way to Jotunheimen National Park

 These sheep tried to slow us down by blocking the bridge on the small toll road within the park, a few tried to nurse mid-bridge

 And then they meandered past our car, the girls didn't know we were going on safari in Norway but they thought it was hysterical

 The views just kept getting better as we headed to the trailhead for the hike we chose in the National Park.  The women at the park office we stopped at in Lom that morning simply said, "the Leirvassbu valley is quite nice"

 Then we were headed on towards the Lustra Fjord

And a new day we headed back up over a new set of mountains headed back towards Moss

Near Geilo, which is a ski resort town, they had ski villas in the Norwegian folk style with grass roofs
