Norway Road Trip - Views from our nights' stays

Hi everyone,

We are trying to get some photos and stories on the blog. To get things started we thought we'd share the views from each of the places we stayed during our trip! (and also some views of the places we stayed)

We spent the first night in Vinstra
The girls loved the sheep (with bells around their necks!) Joshua and I decided the sheep were cuter during the day than when they were walking by our bedroom window with their bells tingling in the middle of the night!

There were also some cows for good measure (another hit with the girls!)

Our second night was spent in Hellesylt - and we checked in and went to bed with rain and fog...

but then woke up to clearer skies (for a stretch of the day)

Here's the same view the next morning

Night 3 was in a cabin in
Skjåk
(pronounced "shock")

View out the front of the cabin and the start of sunshine for the rest of our trip!

The row of cabins

Nights 4 and 5 were spent in a Tipi Tent in Solvorn (there were 5 mattresses on top of pallets inside the Tipi Tent). If you want to be aware of how late sunset is in August in Central Norway, we recommend sleeping in a Tipi Tent with your kids!
The view out of the tent on our final morning.

View back at the hostel which was called Eplet which means apple. The girls really liked the Eplet-produced pear juice and the wild raspberries by the parking lot!

View of the Lustrafjord from right outside the Tipi Tent.

Our 6th and final night was spent in Geilo which is a ski town. The view was not as spectacular from this house but the girls had a great time playing in the back yard!

Inside the rental house which had a lot of personality!

More soon on our road trip and our time in Moss!
