Since we had a whopping 3 days in between our families' visits...we decided we needed to make good use of that time and planned a day trip to the north side of Chicago. We met up with Joshua's friend from high school, Brian and got to see a little of Evanston, Illinois (proud home of Northwestern University). I like this first photo because it looks like Brian and Sydney are both thinking "Don't I know you from somewhere?"
