3 Bonus National Monuments

We made good use of our stopover in Flagstaff to see 3 National Monuments. We did a short walk (275 steps each way) into Walnut Canyon to see dwellings carved into the canyon walls from 800 years ago. One of the volunteers at that site really earned his keep fielding questions from our curious kids for well over an hour. The girls are really getting a lot out of the junior ranger program at the national parks. On our way to the Grand Canyon we saw Sunset Crater Volcano and the ruins of Wupakti.
