This year we went to Baltimore for our annual MLK, Jr. weekend reunion with Peace Corps friends. The children's museum was a big hit. Tommy showed James Henry the wonders of the telescope.

Sydney liked the grocery room.
The ball pit was a big hit for big kids and little kids. This photo is not staged - Joshua actually kicked Mike in the head by accident while taking his leg out (I just happened to be taking a photo at that exact moment).
Sydney liked the ball pit but after a while she would sink down and offer up an "Up, please" to get Joshua to pull her back up to the surface.

The deal was, each child would pick an animal out of a box and then everyone would do yoga stretches representing that animal. Sydney chose the cheetah.
The instructor helped her act it out...and then had fun trying to get her to part with it!
